steering column issues

my k5's tilt steering column is super loose and giggles side to side.i know this is a common problem and i heard about the 4 bolts you need to tighten.aparently its a PITA to tear it apart and fix.my question is will a new column out of a fuel injected blazer work or also is there a non tilt column in these trucks i wouldnt mind a non tilt.

yes there is a straight column you can put in. the only problem is that if you use the wheel for leverage to get in and out the same problem will occur.
