Trailer problems

How the fawk do I fix this!!!

I was doing some sort of emergency trailer repairs for the Utah trip and when I set it back on the ground the shackles wont sit right.The shackles are between the front and rear springs hooked to that pivotycantileverdohicky.Instead of both shackles being sorta vertical,one is straight up and the other horizontal and the center pivot dealy is flopped to one side.

If I try and flip it so that both shackles are right it flops the other way.I have been fawkin with this for about an hour and a half.Ready to just burn the damn thing but I kinda want to go to Moab :crazy: .But I cant tow like this :uh oh:

i would try and drive it around unloaded get it to bounce around a few times sounds like the springs are bound up

Mine did that today when I was doing trailer repairs for the trip to moab that im not going on. rubber mallet and one wack later it was fixed. :unsure:

I beat on pried and poked at these things forever and I couldnt get em.I drove it 150 or so miles and they were still outa shape.It wasnt until I had a load on it that they fixed themselves.

Happy they are fixed but a little bent that I fooled with them for so long to get nowhere with them,and then have them fix themselves :toothless:

That thing was a lot lighter when I got home.
