i will be down there for this www.freestylesurfslam.com, i'm going to take my stand up skis down for some wave action , got my footholds glassed in time to try barrel rolls, and the sammi is coming for some dune fun, i guess there is two or three other events going on down there to a motocross race and a 100th year of oceandunes party it going to be crazy fun :banger: :drunk: :mrhumpy: :pound:

....speaking of Howard,........ today i spoke with a guy who's wife talked to him while he was walking to the RR tracks. Guess some other homeless guys were asking him for money and stuff,...... and she was walking by with her kids. :shocked:

We got the winch Dan,.......... HOLY CROPOLI is that thing huge. !

We also did some jetskiing in the ocean. It was a first for Jery and i. WOW is it hard ! Oh yeah........ be sure to ask Jerry how he tore the handle pole completely off his ski :shocked2:

haha welcome to the ocean, that happens all the time in the ocean. no limiting strap huh?

you guys spray the inside of the skis with wd40 before goin in or flush em well after? That salt water WILL destroy the entire motor and anything else in there real fast.

ya so i was riding buy to see what was going on with tori when my ski decides to stop because of the sand i was on and no water, well i think it takes alot of fiberglass to stop a 300 pound guy and the handle pole did not have enough so that snaped off and i toped myself with my shoulder into the sand, still think i need to go to the docs to see how bad it is

Yeah, i did both,....... WD'd, flushed engine for several minutes, then rinsed and shop vac'd the inside of the hull with fresh water.

It was our first time in the ocean, crap is it difficult. Hopefully it gets easier with more practice.

Do you ride ?

used to, no more skis for me after I moved to the gay area. No where to ride here, all restricted. I used to live 15 mins to Millerton lake in Fresno, and you could drive your truck onto the beach and unload right there. It was the life as far as living in Fresno goes. Then I moved here and that was the end of jet skis for me....so I bought a jet boat. :)

are u kidding me no where to ride theres 2500 miles of delta plenty of lakes within 2 hours there is lots of places to ride

hehe Too far to drive for skiing. I got spoiled. Plus I wanted a boat. The delta is sketchy, been almost killed too many times out there.
