Okie dokie!

Both tires mounted at 20psi, jack under front axle to take truck weight off:

I think they fill out the truck a bit better since the truck is so big. In person I think it looks alot better than it did before. The tires are a good 3" wider and 2" taller (duh).

Also got my hood latch on finally. I actually found my origional one, somehow it got into the storage compartment on the side of my MIG welder.

42's for sale now!

Looks great man. Glad to see you made the step up to 44’s. I was wondering when you were going to stop messing around with them small little 42’s :flipoff2: . What’s the width on the 44’s you’re running? Did you get them new or used?

You’re not the only one stepping up in tire size……I’ll have some pictures next week of my 40” (ok…they’re really only 39.5” ) Irok’s on a set of DIY4x custom designed (by me) beadlocks.

Now the big question….when are you going to break them in???

There used, bought them off a guy I wheel with in moab. Bout 80% tread left I'd guess...

I'll be at the hammers in Dec. with Ken breaking them in the hardest way possible. Then hollister in January. Then who knows where. I'm usually on a big run once a month so they will get used often as my 42's did...

How'd you get 'em out from Moab? Just curious what method/company people use to ship large items like that. THere's been more than once I've found a set of tires for a killer price that were across the US and not finding a good company to use for shipping killed the deal.

I checked them out when I was there a few months ago then he was going to visit his in laws or something near Vegas and Esteban was going to vegas last weekend so I had them meet and Esteban brought them.

So you used “Estemoma-Ex” for shipping eh? Wasn’t their slogan: “When it absolutely, positively has to be picked up by a mom…..call Estemomma-Ex!”

I’ve got to drive down to Castaic this Saturday to pick up my new Irok’s. Maybe I’ll give “Estemoma-Ex” a call and see if they can help me out.
:flipoff2: :p

Oh come on man....I'll bake some cookies to bring over!!!!! I want to stop by the Esteban mansion in Bako. :D :flipoff2:

I'm thinking that I'll need SOMETHING to break up the monotony of a 10 hour round trip drive on Saturday. By the time I get back home that day I'm going to be stir crazy from sitting in the truck for that long....

Any good strip joints on I5 going south???? :p

Oh yeah.....have to remember not to have mexican food on Friday.....I don't want to gas myself out of the truck on Saturday.

The only one in town is a little ways off the 99 not the 5.

And I would seriously have you over but i will be in LA that day. I'll be leaving here sometime in the morning. What time are you meeting the guy?

Hijack on.

No biggy….just giving you shit.

I think I’m going to leave my place around 3 or 4 AM. We’ll see how I feel. Plus I’ve got to give the guy a call and see what time is good for him. I figure the sooner I can get down there and back the sooner I can start to mount (he he…I said mount) the tires on my new beadlocks and there’s no sense in wasting time on sleep….my as well get after it!!

Hijack off.

HIJACK BACK ON

You should be cruising by here around 8ish then. I'll be here then if you just want to stop and stretch your legs bit. It's a little out of your way, but not a whole lot. Let me know.

HIJACK OFF
