So I walk in this morning and check my email. I have an email from my boss telling me that I need to clean out all the techs vans, along with the techs, then have the techs wash them, inventory all the parts, restock with correct quanities, and keep track of what parts they use so that they can be replenished. This email that she sends me was a forward from her boss that he sent out on the 1st. So it took my boss 2 weeks to forward it onto me and it has to all be done by the 30th. Well needless to say, I have some wrenching to do so they can suck it if they think im working OT or coming in on the weekends.

Sorry just had to vent.

Anyone know of any entry levelish techy jobs in the pleasanton/san ramon area?

:angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:

If it was always fun....employers wouldn't have to pay us to work.

You're also going to get pretty jaded if you expect managers to change. That whole "Sit on the project until the last minute and then dump it on someone else" is a common occurrence.

Grin and bear it, I'd say.

Maybe if you do a kick-ass job, your boss will remember you as being the 'go to guy' the next time, and will give you this stuff sooner, instead of wasting so much time trying to figure out who to assign it to???

Either way, if there's a crappy job to do and you are lowest on the org chart.....you can bet that work is headed your way!!! :D

I think it has a lot to do with how she handles things. To be honest, and not trying to offend anyone. I dont know many women that can handle a manager type job effectivly. I have worked for a few, some are good, some cant handle it. No one here is happy, I always have to listen to everyone else bitch about it. argh I dunno. I sent her an email and she didnt even respond, she just sent a spreadsheet that had little to do with it.

We will be getting a boss like that...

She is taking over as Fleet manager in january and has never had ANYTHING to do with transportation...And she has made it clear that she is only using this job as a steeping stone to higher grounds...It will be fun to see how things go in the next year.. :2thumbs:
And I could care less if she is a she ..But she should know the dam job if she is to be the head honcho of the trasportation dept there..
