Out on the sand camping, the size of your rig for the reservation doesn't really matter.

Nothing like having my rig recovered from totally broken, to make me think bout what next upgrade to do.
The thing I have discovered wheeling that there are people I have met that came to my rescue. Some have become life long Friends. I am glad when I see these Friends for many years enjoying life wheeling the dunes….. cus I wheel a Jeep, I will need to be rescued again.

Is there any way to get more than 1 reservation in one persons name?

Last year I had two reservations in my name and my buddy got in by simply claiming one of them using my name..also each res comes with a res # so that can be used too...they are pretty flexable about it!

Thats kinda why I want to get more than one so other people can camp if they decide to go at a later date. So how do you order more than one in your name because Reserve America only allows one. Do you have to just keep reserving them one at a time?

Yes, I think you can only make 2 reservations under one name at one time. if you need more, use another name and reserve more.
but write down how you log in, so you can find your reservations again

But, do it soon only 47 sites are left for Saturday!! there was twice that yesterday.

RB has been working on Frank-n-Jeep whenever he has had spear time, between work, classes, Physics homework, usually late at night.
He’s added some muscle to an all ready awesome running engine. Last night with open headers and the fuel pumping from a jury gas can, wires running everywhere. Frank burst alive instantly, RB reached over the freshly installed TPI and gave the throttle a healthy romp!!! you will do your best Tim Taylor Man sound effect; :uh oh: when you hear this Monster run up...Oh yeah that’s a Fact…RB is the TPI guru!!

remove mastercylinder and replace (it's leaking were the booster hooks up)

weld up perches in the right spot

Once again I am screwed. I was supposed to get the tranny rebuilt in the RV last weekend, that didnt happen. I tried getting it smogged 2 weekends ago, but an obsolete part was bad, it failed miserably. I cant find it anywhere. :( I have to trace down an electrical short that kills the engine at random too, that will be fun. I still need to get a title and green sticker for the F350 too. Oh, and save a million dollars for fuel too :(

i need to bring the rail home fix brakes wiring for lights, rebuild the top end in quad, maybe fuel injecting pump in friends dodge diesel for the trip, fix jet ski for salt water, it kills them with a quickness

..and that may not seam like alot of time to some but for me 3 hrs is a HELLOV alot of time for working on my truck as my life is crazy buzy with everything else..I'm not giving up on the K5 yet but Mr. Murphy just reamed my ass perrty hard this weekend!!! And why can't a man work on his truck on Mothers Day???? :argue: :chaz: hehehheee

My plans are falling apart too. I might get the RV whipped into enough shape to make the trip, but I still need time off to smog it, and get the F350 squared away at the DMV. If I don't take the RV, I need to finish the 8 lug swap on the Bronco. I also need to secure a trailer, seeing is how I was lazy for the last 8 months to widen mine, or fix it, and use the new 6K beams I bought for it.

I could just "drive" the blazer there, but I never did the body bushings, so that needs to be done. I need tcase to trans seal replaced, finish shortening the driveshaft, and dream up a way to keep all the sand out of the carpet.(Yeah yeah, I know, its a beater, but still, the carpet still looks nice.) Too bad the PO glued that stuff in.

$3.50 a gallon for fuel is not looking appealing either, but at this point, the little woman is looking forward to this trip more than I am, so unless she changes her mind, I am stuck with going.

as of right now i have my quad motor torn down thought it was a head gasket blown, then i thought it was a water pumpnope it was a hole in the breather line that i filled when washing it last time out so now i have three broken head bolts and a few other broke snaped off bolts to deal with to get it back together, sand rail runs but i guess the brakes arent the best but who needs those, two jet skis need a good check over and a new bilge pump installed, i wonder why i didn't start fixing this crap a year ago

Here is a solution to the reservation problem

Tag along with somebody who is bringing in bikes/quads/sandrail
buy a day pass.
Take the quads/bikes on the beach
bring out the trailer
load your rig onto the trailer
Have your buddy take your truck on his trailer thru the gate, and claim his reservatoins. His rig and yours will get a tag for camping, you are legit.

I know tweaker and SR175 will be taking quads, and have reservations. If you hookup with them, and borrow a trailer form somebody at camp, you can get in, and be legit for about $12.

Hopefully someone can bring it this year. So far every year I have been able to bring lots of tweakers firewood in my truck. Gonna be drop kicking that piece of junk soon and will be bringing my suburban instead this year. The only bad thing is no space for wood.........

Ya without my K5 I don't have a good spot for wood also. Loading the back of the K5 is a great way to haul a shit load of wood..

I have about 10 (or more) large 18" or bigger oak rounds that were cut down last year that I was going to bring. If anyone is conveniently near my neck of the woods, feel free to drop by, I'll give it to ya. Otherwise, I will have wood to bring to BF. (they do allow camp fires right?)
