Hello All,
Well, the Wife says I need to get the ugly beast painted if I want to keep it in our driveway - shucks, darn.... :pimp2:
I have a shop that sounds reasonable but he will not do it with the current blazer height so I need something lower?
Whatcha all got that I can rent for a few weeks?
Thanks,
Dave

I've got 4 that you came off my Burb that are just sitting here too. Same boat as Jason though. Maybe Barbastard can pick the up for you while he is down here this weekend.

OK, let me know who I need to contact, persuade with beer, etc.....
Thanks for the quick responses.
My K5 has been in Chico since last December. Now that it is back in my possession and somewhat trail ready I hope I can hook up with the group before too long. :thumb:

Got you covered.
No need to pick anything up at Esteban’s…..I’ve got a set of 4 stock 16” 8 lug wheels with the pizza cutter tires on them (like 245’s I think) that you can borrow. They're in my garage at my house in Pleasant Hill.
When do you need them? You could come by and pick them up on Sunday if you wanted. PM ime if that works for you.

Bar, Jays, k5tpi,
Got the green light for an immediate paint job - who's setup should I use? Morgan hill is closer - are the hazed tires roadworthy?
Jays - appreciate the offer but you don't need to be packing tires around for me (unless you tell me your drink of choice).

Its not a prob, Nate is only 10 mins from my house. I drive a truck to work everyday, there is so much crap in the back that some tires would be at home. just let me know.

Cool. Where exactly is Fremont Blvd.... :uh oh:

off of 880 in fremont. I think, no knowing where exactly you are, you can hop on 237 then get onto 880 towards oakland then get off on gateway, loop around and gateway will deadend into fremont blvd them Im about a mile down. I would say the gateway exit is about 5 miles from the 237 interchange. During the day it would be a somewhat quick drive, but after 2pm you will hit traffic on 880.

Got it. Yes, Fremont is no prob for me - Mathilda and El Camino in Sunnyvale.
Let me know when it would work for you as I am ready any time in the next few days.

Well, took the K5 in for the estimate - the guy now tells me that he can do a rig the height of mine
So the wheels will not be necessary.
I thank all of you for the help and would like to buy y'all lunch - if you are around Sunnyvale we could go to Clarke's (Shaggy, Dunerunner, MJF and I all met there before), excellent burgers and it would be fun.
If that does not happen we will need to hook up on the trail for food and libation.
Thanks again!

What tires are supposed to be on it? Have you run them with the 5.13s?

I will need 4 from Thursday til Sunday eve/Monday morn. Stripping and prepping all day friday for the booth on Saturday and Sunday - I would gladly make a JD deal with you but I would not want to disable a vehicle....
Or am I missing something with the Sierra GRANDE!?? :D

Well let's see. I am planning on running 15/39.5/17 TSL's on my DIY beadlocks. But that will be a long time coming.
I had J's 37's on the rear,and had no problem spinning them in his backyard.I currently have a 700r4 with a 208 t-case.
I just found a guy in Ore. selling a 465/205 the whole set-up for $200. :pimp2:
