Ok so I know a few of us have talked about going to the con this year. Its almost 07 and time to start asking for days off well in advance so I can make a trip or 2 this year.
Do we want to do it like last time and go in the week? This would be GREAT for me as my schedule so supposed to change after the first and Ill have friday-saturday off. So do we want to try for a wed-sat thing? tues-friday? tues-sat?
What part of the year? Is BF going to be in July or June? Before or after that? Id like to go so Im not freezing my arse off in the middle of the night when I have to wake up and take a poo.
Lets get this talk going to we can nail down some dates.
Whos down to go? Dates?

I'm down to go. As far as dates go I won't need one....I'm married. :p
I'd suggest like May or August and a Wednesday to Saturday run or something like that.

Dude...don't even get me started with the sandy mangina comments. Bah....pismo is for broke back blazer boyz who like to play in the sand and build sand castles. :flipoff2:
Although.....if everything goes as planned......I should have a nasty little 383 built and in the rig by then so my excuse for never going (because my rig is a gutless wonder) wouldn't be valid anymore. hmmmmmmmm
Fine....not May. I don't really care when. Although any earlier than May I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it.

So what do you all think about meeting at the safeway around noon, making our way to the staging area by 2 or 3 and wheel into the night? Ive never night wheeled at night, and have always wanted to. We could always meet at the staging area and leave a 2- 3 hour window for everyone to make it. Last year I was "holding up" Crewcabroller who really needed to get to the top of the mountian first, this way there is a cushion for any slow pokes or breakdowns So what do you guys think???

Jason, can you give me the latest as far as dates and meeting times? We should have a group coming from So Cal and we wanted to know more details to plan for...thanks. Any chance of a Tuesday thru Friday trip, or are we set on the Wednesday-Saturday? Just wondering...I'll catch shit for missing my niece's birthday that Saturday, but I'll live...my bro can't go though if it's through Saturday (his wife would kill him). :)

Ok, thanks...we were talking about it at our Adopt A Trail cleanup and the consensus seemed to be a Tuesday through Friday or Saturday run, but we're open to whatever of course...it's a real long haul from down here, so I'd rather not pull an all nighter and then hit the trail right away, but I'm sure adrenaline will kick in!
Keep us posted on the details! I've heard of Chris, Garrett, Max, me, Jason W, etc planning on going...probably forgot a few others, but should be a handful of trucks from down this way...
