So I had the old Transfercase brace on my old th350-203 combo.
And since I wanted to put the same brace onto the sm465-205 since it can be a thing that helps to not twist and break the TC adapter , So I have had the new bushings set that it takes and went to put it on and with the 2 brackets and mounts and what not all bolted on it was no where close to touching the inside frame rail..(about 1" from the frame rail to high) and was just about to Throw the dam whole thing threw the wall (after taking it out many times thinking I might have the bushing order wrong) So calmed down and remembered that I bought anouther brace from Jay and found the bag and got it out and this is the result..

So I have NEVER heard any differance in the side braces untill I saw it myself..So I have proof there is 2 braces that they made...
