A side from a kingpin rebuild kit, where is the best place to buy all the bearings and seals for a front 60? I need all the wheel bearings, seals, carrier bearings, pinion bearings, pinion seal. I'll prob need a spindle also but Ill know more when I tear into it.

I can get you pricing tomorrow from my work. Also in case you didn't know, the D60 and the 14ff use the same wheel bearings.

Well yeah but I haven't done anything to mine in 4 years other than replace broken axle shafts. Was it full of mud/water/dirt? I think the only thing that keeps mine going is I don't do mud/water.

I have yet to pull it apart, maybe tomorrow just so I know what I need. A few months back I pulled a hub for what ever reason and there was some water. Never got around to looking into it more. But that was the hub that was fine. :uh oh:

If anything it was water which made them rust and the cage explode.

Well got it all part today. Spindle needs to be replaced mostly due to the threads being messed up. There was a small ridge that could be felt where the outer bearing would be. I think it could be sanded down, and if I can fix the threads I might do that for a spare.

Once I pulled the caliper the whole rotor/hub came off with out me taking anything apart. :uh oh: Glad that didnt happen on the trail. I did manage to loose the other pad tho.

When I lost my bearing on Sierra treck, I kept pushing the break to keep my wheel in line, drove it off the trail and then back to the staging area where I got it on a flat bed.
Learned that trick from when my bearing exploded on me back home in my van when i was 200 miles away from civilisation, I drove it like this in 1st gear for 12 hours down hill to get home. :pain:

My milk shake brings all the 60s to the junk yard....

Im going to try and reuse the center chunk bearings as they seem to be in good shape. Thats all providing that I can get them off. I got new seals from Nate, Thanks buddy.

I guess I should take it apart more often and grease the crap out of it. :uh oh:
