Im swapping in the detriot too. The spindle looks like we can save it. Just need to clean up some of the threads and the bearing surface. Its not street drving so the little that we need to clean up the bearing surface should be ok.

And Im not towing it down there with the heavy half ton tow rig.

I'm a maybe, just need to get my other winch mounted and my rear govlock welded up and another IROK. one of mine is pretty trashed, ok for spare but not for a regular boot. :uh oh:

Id have to get to 99 one way or another. Who are you riding with once we are there? I only have 2 seats and I dont think it would be too comfey or safe riding on the tube bed.



Jason what days are you going? If I manage to get my act together can we meet at your place and then go?

I figure if I can make an extra $1000 in the next month I should be good to go. So back to hussling to get the money.

Depends on when Noel is going but our typical trip is Thursday through Monday ordeal heading home on Tuesday... So if thats the case then thats when I'm going. Probably head down Thursday morngin and wheel a bit on Thursday then head home Tuesday morning.

I’m out. I can’t get that time off plus I’ve got some family obligations that weekend on Saturday. I will make it down that way one of these times. My Dad wants me to come down and take him through the hammers….just a matter of time. Maybe a May or September trip.

I do have the 19th off for president’s day and am planning on at least heading out to HH or maybe Fordyce for the day. I’ll create a new post for anyone else that wants to go…..

Im backing out. I just really dont think the $$ is there. No need to strap myself anymore. Prob try to get the rig together and head out to hollister for the day. Or not depends if I get the rig back together.

Well too bad no one came, it was awesome weather and wheeling. I ended up meeting some of my other buddies there and did some new trails and some of the old stuff.

I lost a bolt today on my front lower right link at the axle end and my pinion went straight up and took out both front shocks. Just twisted it back downa dn put a new bolt in and was good as new other than the shocks. Road to camp on the bump stops, that was fun :p
