Gatekeeper was already paved anyway... The last time we went through I completely missed it, we never even slowed down... It wasn't a 10th what it was in 04. Little sluice is next.

The Forest service is probably not responsible for pouring the cement on the rocks.My guess is thats why they broke it up.

FOTR poured the concrete to keep the rocks in place not to make the raileasier but to prevent yahoos from moving the rocks to make it harder.
The blasting I have no idea why.
I guess we'll wait and see.

Dayam, this is shitty news. By the time I acutally run the 'Con I can do it in my Dakota?

Well what do you expect, the trail is located in hippy Cali so it's only a matter of time before it's ruined for the wrong reasons.
