My TH350 only stood up to my new engine mods for about a week. I was wondering If anyone knows of a good place to get a 700r4 locally, I would prefer not to have it shipped, I want one with all the performance mods I can get. If the best place is where I have to have it shipped thats ok too.

I have a shop here in Fremont that does a good job with them. Not sure what he charges but i could find out for you. I could probably pick it up from you and get it to him also if you want.

How soon are you looking to have it built? I may be headed your way on or before the weekend.

I don't have a core scott. I was just gonna buy one outright. My old tranny was a 350 I want the overdrive. Thanx Scott!

I will ask him about an outright build with core included. You do know you will have 2 things to deal with, TV cable connection and also torque convertor lock up.

I'm assuming this is for your rig so a 4x4 trans is what you're after?

What T-case are you running? This may make a difference in what your front driveshaft options are. Not sure of your options if you have a 203 but the 205 depending on what yoke you use will hit the tranny pan.

"SHift management inc" here in Sac also does a great job on those and warranty them for 18k 18 months.
I have a core if you need one, I paid $75 for it, i will take your th350 in return.
they charge a $200 core charge otherwise.
let me know, i can get it dropped off and then take it to you in return for a favor, I need my mower motor fixed. :pimp2:

Is the 350/208 adapter the same as the 700/208 adapter? If not I have the tall version if you need it. :2thumbs:

That one year they had the th350 with the 208 in 81 before introducing the 700R4 they had a long output th350 and the adapter used is the same they use with the 700R4 so he doesn't need to change that. :pimp2:

You got their number?
They do anything you want from shift kits to corvette servo to bigger clutch packs, and their price is good and they have a great warranty, if you break down anywhere in the US you got to the nearest local quality shop, do a diagnosis and they contact shift management and get it fixed and deal with each other, you don't pay anything out of pocket or go to Sac to deal with it.
