Get more miles out of the radial, but is it worth the $60 more a tire?

Gonna run 39.5/13.5R17 Irok.

You towing, or commuting the rig to the trails? If towing, duh, bias'd, if commuting....hmmm....probably still bias'ed, unless you plan on doing REALLY long hauls on the freeway.

CaptainInsano, feel free to chime in here. He'll be running the exact same tires as you.

I already told you dude….go with the bias ply’s like I’m running. After this weekend, I’m firmly convinced that the IROK’s are the best tires out there. I even drove mine to and from HH (hopefully the last trip I’ll ever have to drive the rig on….trailer here I come) and it did just fine. I just think for their shear toughness and durability the bias are the way to go for a wheeler. Save the radials for your exploder….

I used to run the 39" IROK Bias on the freeway, 70+ mph no problem, trailer queen now. Screw the radials, those are for MallCrawlers. Plus the money you save will pay for the spare. :thumb: The IROKs rock...period. Bitchen tires.

So far the cheapest I've found has been $218 a tire for the Bias. Thanks for the info feller's. Yes I will be driving it to and from the trails, but no DD.

You know what to do now go and shell out the coin and get them ordered :flipoff2: You won't drive it enough to need radials, plus the money you save will help with the beadlocks, doubler, gears, master install kit, locker, winch, bumbers, cage...ect.

Now go do the right thing :pimp4:
