I’m going to TRY and install the new pump/reservoir etc before the January run. Plus, I still have to order up my new tierod, weld brackets on it for the ram, and install that as well. Not sure exactly how much time I’m going to have before the Jan run so we’ll see…plus…I won’t have a trailer. So, my participation in the Jan trip, at least as a driver, at this point is questionable. :(

Have you talked to Trevor about the tie rod? I need to order some shims from him. Now If I can only remember what ones I had....

Why...did you tweek the one you had..Isnt it a WFO heavy duty one..?? :blink:

Yeah…called him last week and told him I bent up one of his tierods. He didn’t believe me and wants to see pictures of the carnage. I told him he needs to give me something a little more HD. So I guess I’ll step up in Diameter and wall thickness and hope that will help. So far the ram seems to be fine…well at least it’s not leaking which is usually a tell tale sign that it’s been bent. But, we’ll see once I remove it. If it’s bent I’m going to be pissed!!! I just paid out the ass to finally get that thing working correctly as it was a POS from day one from WTO.

Well, I didn’t exactly do it on purpose :flipoff2: . In fact…still not 100% sure how I did it. It didn’t hit a rock or anything else (I’ve got hi steer) so the only thing I can think of is that I wedged the tires against something and steered off of it and the tierod gave in. I did it while going through squeeze rock (either the 4th or 5th time). Steering acted a bit different but it was fine the rest of the weekend…even drove it home like that. I’ll get some pictures up soon.
