how bout high lakes instead? I'm going up to the Ville again this weekend. :) Might have to tow the Yota up there and have some fun, especially since Tank Traps was nothing but a tease this time! Rocks are more fun anyways.

We packed up and headed out to Hollister hills last night late and camped. Got up this morning and got some wheeling in, not enough pic diversity but then again I wasn't the camera guy. My friends dad joined us and he has quite a few pics I need to get ahold of.

I have another 40 or so more but they are all similiar.

Good news is the truck finally works and the additions work well. Front driveshaft doesn't vibrate or bind, I had it up to 35mph. The wrap-bar slides fine and seems to keep the pinion angle where it needs to be without binding the suspension.

That because you saw them in a timely manner and they are still in your temp memory, people who hadn't seen them before my pb bandwidth died aren't as lucky.

Thanks Burt :2thumbs:

It's going to be nice brining a working rig to a club event for once in a couple weeks here.

The tires are Mud Grapplers and other than the inherent weight of being radials I like them. The compound is pretty soft, the sidewalls seem to flex decently (I was only down to 12psi that day) and I didn't spin a tire once all day even with my ARB solenoid on the fritz for an undetermined reason. The sidewalls also have some very decent tread blocks for radials so I climb sideways easy enough which was really handy going up and about those sides in Jungle. Being I've only put 9k miles on the truck in the last 2 years they should last me another 4 at least unless I sell them to go bigger which could very well happen in the next year.

I'm impressed with what you have achieved with the truck, Kyle. It's such a nice compromise, I'd roll that all over the place now. Good job.

Did you go through Squeeze Rock, BTW?

Uh, I highly, highly, highly doubt it... I noticed he still has doors and bed sides so I'd say no.

Yeah, those might be from before the occurence though, who knows?

Huh?

I know for a fact he didn't do it, trust me. His entire pass. side would be destroyed.

Word. I can take a picture of my passenger side just to prove to you that it will mess things up. Or nosomg can tell you about the rock that tried to take his place.

Uh, yea no. I just watch the Yota's go through it while blasting their angry music and gathering in a huddle of wifebeaters and beers :thumb:

Ok, maybe not typical but it happened this time around.

Sunday would be clean sheet day, notice comforter minus dog hair. I just hadn't gotten to the 8 million pillow cases quite yet.

Nice. Not too bad, though, I would think the door would have caved more in.

I was pretty far to the driver side, I almost made it with less damage until I slipped into it...thenit just pivoted on the door right around the rock and out the other side. :thumb:
