Poison oak! Damn it everytime I go!
Now I am getting it in only one spot. Even though I don't get directly exposed there, inside of left thigh. Some nasty shit that plant is. Gets in your blood and then pops up all over.

use soap called FELS-NAPTHA. it's a laundry soap that will clear off any of the oils from poison oak. it helps a little after you've gotten poison oak, but not much. it works best if you use it right after wheeling and of course wash your hands before every meal at least.
blazerfest i got a bad case of poison oak and remembered the trick. now i've been back twice, and hardly even a got part of a couple of blisters from it. the stuff works miracles. oh and yes wash your hair with it too. scalp rash sucks. :2thumbs:
oh and here's the name of the cream to get rid of the rashes. that way you don't screw with your hearts condition using the steroids. it's called ULTRAVATE. with this stuff you apply it generously and it'll clear up most poison oak i a week. the steroids boast they can do it too. but they leave you itching towards the end.

when I got it REALLY bad last year I got steroids. Didn't help a bit. I was miserable for two weeks, out of work for a week. totally fucked up. since then I haven't got it as bad, however now I wear long sleeves even in the fawking summer, or at least try to. I won't wheel when it is blazin hot down there, just sucks then. I got a damn deer tick last year too and had to be tested for Lyme Disease. Last year sucked for wheelin in holister. But I went back anyways. Whats a redneck to do?

Lat time I had it I took a sharp knife and Scraped the top off of all the blisters and the covered the area with rubbing alcohol. Hurt, but it was gone in three days. :D completely dried it out. Had more of a thick layer of dry skin rather than a scab.
