View Full Version : "Built Not Bought" Cargo Carrier.

I needed something to haul the bikes around and extra luggage that doesn't fit inside the motorhome or the Expedition. But all the store bought ones seemed small and weak and were so damn expensive. SO I built a bigger heavier duty one for CHEAP!!

This will hold all 5 bikes or firewood or whatever else i need it too. I built it wider then the store bought ones so when the bikes are on they will cover the taillights. That is why the tailights were added to the botom. I also hate when the hitch rattles inside the reciever so I added an Anti-rattle device to it.

If I make it wider it would stick out the side of the expedition. And i can make YOU one that is wider if you want. :2thumbs:

That's pretty sweet. I like it.

I think you should add some seats and people could ride back there...it'd be a blast!!!

My neighbor brought that up to me and I figured if a cop is gonna be that much of a dick that he is gonna give me a ticket for a single little light after i went through the trouble of actually MOVING the plate and adding taillights then so be it. :roll:

(damn that was a long sentence)

All you have to do is sit on it and it will act like a strainer. :p

Yeah…but I just had a snickers…and you know…they’re “really packed with peanuts”….so I’m not sure that that would work.

Then it'll be easy to pick out the nuts and recycle then. That way you get ALL of the nutrients that your body missed the first time. :pain:
