Axles

Need a set of axles for a project... Looking for d30, d35, or d44's with 3.73ish gears. Need both front and rear.

Project is a '53 willy's with chevy drive train... :unsure:

Fortunately I am not kicking myself too hard, I am helping a buddy!! Don't worry, I already kicked him for not telling me he needed the axles sooner!! But, the nice thing is this is really the only mod to be done. It's already a runner, but the current axles are geared at 6.17...but he wants to be able to drive it on the street, so he wants higher gears, like 3.73 or so.

D25 front, D41 or D44 rear I think.

The D60/70 combo is WAAAYY overkill for the little Willy's, even the D44 is pushing it.

SO you looking for 6 lug or 8 lug?
I have a set of 6 lugs on my chalet, and I was thinking of putting the set of 8 lugs that I have on it, but at this point I will sell whichever set is required.
Both are 3.73
d44/12b in 6 lug
10b/14bsf in 8 lug.

I have a D44/14b SF in the 74 that I would part with. I was told that they are 4.10s, but they might be 3.73s. Was also told there is a gov-lock in the rear, but would have to confirm that too.

i have a set of (stock) axles off a 1953 or so willys sitting under the willys truck in my driveway....if your interested let me know. i have no idea what axles they are. hell if you want you can have the frame and springs also...lol.im starting a willys project and need to get it gone, so make me an offer so i can make room for my donor vehicle.

if interested let me know and ill try and get more info on them.
