Me and the wife rollin in the brown turd cholo blazer.
Darren “danceswithhoods” in the scout.
My buddy Justin (guy that lives in Grass Valley) in a newer TJ.
Possibly my buddy Scott in a sick little 1st gen bronco.
Beyond that I’m not sure. I may try and talk Bare into coming up with the benzo mog but we’ll so how that goes and my brother in law with the CJ may come as well.
We’ll be staying the night for sure and are down for dinner/drinks whatever. Still undecided as to whether we’re going to roll up Friday night or 1st thing Saturday AM. I’ll post up our decision later this week.
Looking forward to actually wheeling a little this weekend!!!

Here’s some directions to Greenhorn:
Here's some directions from Auburn:
Take I-80 to the Grass Valley/HWY 49 Exit in Auburn
Head NB on HWY 49 to Grass Valley (approx. 20 mi.)
Take the Brunswick Exit in Grass Valley and turn right
Go approx. 2 miles on Brunswick and turn left on Idaho Maryland Road
Go up Idaho Maryland Road approx 4 miles until you get to a stop sign then turn right onto Banner Lava cap Road
Go approx 3 miles then turn Right onto Red Dog Road (if Banner Lava Cap turned to gravel you missed the turn)
Red Dog will turn to dirt after about 2 miles and take you down to the river bottom at Greenhorn Creek. No problem getting a trailer in there and there's plenty of parking

My buddy was going to get us some reservations at a place to eat on Saturday night in Nevada City. Who all is interested in going out to eat? Would like to get him the head count by end of day tomorrow.

Do one of you have a scan tool for a Chevy? I threw a code using Sea Foam.

Can we park our rigs on the S. side of the river? That looks like the closest from I80.

Yes...I have an OBD II scanner. I will bring it with me.

That is where I parked mine last time. THere's a dirt road that goes down to the actual river bed and there's lots of little turnouts off of it. I just picked one that wasn't too far away and ditched the tow rig and trailer there.

Can we park our trucks with trailers there? I know NC has pretty limited parking area...

My laptop and scanner live in my truck.

Sweet. I'll bring my truck with an active SES code and we can figure it out or just clear it. Guzzing 5 cans of Sea Foam at 4K RPM was too much. Still idles perfectly. :D
The soot results weren't nearly as impressive as the Frontier I did that had been to hell and back. That left a nice black streak on my driveway.

I'm trying to get a hold of the family that's coming. Not sure if the wife is bringing the 1yr old girl or if the wife is coming at all.
Put me down for 4 just in case.

No idea on where dinner is at. I’ll talk to my buddy today and post up whatever I find out.
As far as parking in Nevada City is concerned…I agree…parking there is limited at best so it is very doubtful that you’ll find a spot that will work to park a tow rig and trailer. Probably have to find a spot to ditch the trailers or car pool.

Ok guys….Dinner is at “Dos Bandidos” in Nevada City at 7:30pm. Don’t ask me for directions…I have no idea where it’s at….so google it. Due to the size of our group and not knowing exactly how many people are going it might be tough for us to all sit together. As it stands now I believe reservations are made for like 18 people.
Plan is to eat there and then go out to some of the local watering holes for some libations after dinner if we’re up to it.
Cathy and I are going to drive up to Grass Valley tonight so I’ll meet you guys at Greenhorn around 9:30am. Only thing that might change that is depending on how bad the traffic is on 80 and what time we get on the road we might just cruise up to Darren’s place in Sac and crash there and then finish the drive in the AM. Either way…see you guys tomorrow AM!!!
Meow.

woot see you there focker !
