Longfield 300M D60 joints???

Anyone heard anything about their 300M D60 ujoints?

Good? Bad? How do they compare to CTM’s? Looking at upgrading to 35 spline chromo shafts and UBER joints (Christmas bonus!!!). They’re about $150 to $200 less than CTM’s.

On a side note….how about there new D60 CV axles….WOW!!!! Look uber cool…uber strong…UBER expensive!!!

Thanks for the link….some info there…mixed amongst the normal PBB bs.

Trailer is still in the works…waiting for my end of project bonuses to come through in Jan or Feb before I can make that purchase. The 35 spline chromo, uber joints and 35 spline hubs/slugs is just for xmas. I won’t be able to afford all 3 items (shafts, joints, hubs) right now at once…so I’ll just get what I can afford and stash it away in the garage until I get it all.

Keyword here is....YET!!! I know it's only a matter of time. Besides...I haven't really played around in the rocks yet (read "been to Fordyce, the con or the hammers yet") with this setup so I don't know how it'll do.

Goddamn that’s funny….and a pretty damn good point too.

I may not buy anything yet….just looking (totally don’t feel like working today). Besides…gonna have to spend some $$ on new PS hoses and fittings to get the KRC kit installed so I may spend the money there.

just a thought, I know I hijacked your post but oh well :flipoff2: , why dont you mount your cb ant inside the bed? Im thinking about buying a small cheap radio shack unit and doing that with the ant. I need something to call for help next time my truck decides to eat itself.

Yes...relocating the antenna to inside the cab is on the list as well. I’ve already broken or lost 4 or 5 of them over the last 3 years. Come to think of it…..I’ve broken more of those than I have axleshaft ujoints (2 of them).
