Update time?

Buy a house by mid summer at the latest.

Still on track for the house. Might be late summer.

Be benching 300#'s and leg pressing 700#'s again by April.

I'm at 280#'s on the bench and 810 on the leg press.

Anyone else?

well the 2nd resolution I made that I didn't mention was to start working out again.

In January I joined the newlocal Gym and almost passed out when I got on the treadmill for about 15 minutes. Now I am running 3.5 miles in 30 minutes and I have lost about 10 pounds so all is going well. I will also be starting a new 90 day lifting routine in about a week so I should see some major results in a couple of months. :2thumbs:

The truck part has not begun yet. :uh oh:

Well I got my fat ass into the gym here also...
and about fell on the ground after 30 min on the tread mill too..(have you tried those ones that are a combo of a treadmill and cross country sking...Dam those kick your arse)
and just got used to it and had to stop(really didnt think my shoulder was that bad and now have to be carefull as to not dislocate my shoulder since they didnt fix it the last time I had surgery on it)
but am going back starting monday..
My deal is to lose about 40#'s this year(less on weights more on cardio)... :2thumbs:

You talking about the eliptical? If you are I was in that for 10 minutes before my calves cramped up the first time. Now I do about 35 minutes on it before a work out and it feels good. :2thumbs:

I don’t do much cardio…I probably should but it’s just not as fun as throwing the weights around. Besides…seems like that hurts my knees more than lifting weights. While my metabolism has slowed down a bunch from my high school and college days, it’s still pretty fast. I have to be cautious of what I eat but I stay active enough to burn off the majority of it. At almost 6’-1” and 220#’s I weigh the most I’ve ever weighed in my life right now (I’d give my left nut to have been this size for high school football) but I’m in probably the 2nd best shape of my life right now. Muscle weighs more than fat. I’m sure if I did more (or any I should say) cardio my body fat would drop a bunch more and I’d be more defined. But…seems like whenever I start doing cardio I lose muscle mass and I take a step back overall. Besides…in my opinion the only good thing about cardio is being able to check out all the girls on the machines around you!!!

Yea I just need to cut my weight down I am at my heavest that I have ever been and I am more concerned with my weight then any muscle adding (for now) If I get my weight down then I will hit the weights harder.. :2thumbs:
