Okay I'm currently looking at two dodges, and I need some opinions.

The first is a 01 dodge ram 2500 exstended cab v10 with 36000 miles on it. There is one owner who was an older man who never drove the thing except to the store. Oh its also a long bed, in perfect condition.
The second is a 01 dodge ram 2500 cummings diesel, with 134,000 on it,
its the same as the other but has a short bed, both are 4x4 and both are about the same price, of 14,500. So which one is better? I know the diesel will tow circles around the v10 but the truck looks and smell/drives like brand new.

SO let have it what do you think!

diesel, very easy to work on and will get better mileage than the crap 10 cyl

There is no "G" in CUMMINS.:flipoff2:

Anyways, tell ya what man, I towed my truggy to Fordyce with a friends '99 V10 4x4. It was a gas guzzlin, gutless pig. It was fun to drive around with no trailer or load. Goes like hell with no load. But was a damn gutless wonder with 8k behind it. My 12v runs circles around it. Nice lookin truck though-

I wouldn't even consider the V10 if you plan to do any towing. Certainly wouldn't consider it if the CTD can be had for the same price. Have you driven the CTD yet? Are they both autos?

I've heard bad things about the V/10's. Even though i'm not a diesel fan i would be all over that diesel rig long before that V/10.
