Well, I don't want to try to find the camp on my own. I'd like to meet up with someone and caravan down since I've never been there. Jason, when you leaving?

If I do, I will be camped out on the lake bed. I'm not going to try to get the motor home back in there!!
Hwy 20 is fun. I want to do it again.
So far I have done Claw, Jack, Wrecking Ball, Back Door, Hwy20 and half of Outer. I want to do Sledge or Hwy 20 for the Tin Benders Jambo in April.

The Hammers don't offer much in the form of "beginners" trials. They are pretty knarly trails that usually need a well built, highly modified rig to run. Most of the rigs that will be on this run fall into the highly modified group and will probably not run the mild trails out there. Although there are ALOT of areas where a stock or slightly modified rig can have fun in, this weekend will probably not consist of any of those.
I'm not trying to scare you off, I'm just giving you a heads up. Wouldn't want you to drive far for something that may not be to your liking.

campfires are allowed. Pretty much anything goes. :D The only rule is your not supposed to burn anything with nails in it.

And people weren't too thrilled with your throwing of bags of gas in the fire when people were close to it

the pallets are ok if you cut them up and burn them in an old washer drum, that way the nails can be contained, i did that this weekend when we went to glamis and it worked good.

I'm still goin...By myself now though. NoSmog was gonna ride with me and split fuel costs, but had to cancel do to work issues. Anyone else wanna ride along with me? I'm coming from way up north, so I can stop wherever and pick ya up. All I ask is for help with fuel. I'm 520 miles from Apple Valley, plus however far it is from there to the hammers. 1000+ miles round trip. Who's down? And whiners need not apply. :flipoff2:
