Nope. No fuel filter. Everything on the other side of the pump is your problem. :flipoff2:

Couple of reasons. But really I dont need to sell it. After this weekend I realized I need to do some maintenance to the rig. I need to get rid of the rats nest of a thing I call a wiring job. So many things have been put on top of another that its causing issues finally. My throttle is setup with a linkage instead of a cable, its way touchy and hard to use. I work for a shop that does a lot of LS swaps, so why shouldnt I have one? Besides everyone else is going that route. Like I said, if I sell it cool then Ill do a motor swap, if not no biggie Ill keep wheeling it. I have a doubler, so I dont need a bunch of torque.

Uh, Ryan pulled his LQ4 out and dropped a cammed LQ9 in. If people would look at his engine cover they would notice the Cadillac emblem and Vortec HO scripture. Geez.

I see. I noticed the Caddy cover at BF but having never eyed his LQ4 I wouldn't have known the difference.

Post hijack on.....
That’s what I thought he was doing. Although I never bothered to check if the block was aluminum or cast iron or eye ball the PS pump.
So what’s the scoop….did you swap engines?

Ok this is for sale for realz now. Since I have something else waiting to go in, I need to get this thing moving. Im going to save weight and drop a 4.8 into my trail rig. Im scared Ill break the front shafts if I keep the BBC. I have a doubler so I dont need a bunch of power.
Ill see what I can do about casting numbers...

Sweet. And with the added fuel economy you can drive it to the trails and come play more often.
