no its now a mexican station they did not tell anyone that they where changing format first ksjo and now them clear channel sucks ass !

thankfully I got Sirus for xmas. Its nice but its in my truck and I dont feel like buying another docking station for it so that I can listen at work also. Back to the static and the bone.

The only station i like is live105 and i dont think there going anywhere but its still sad to lose a station so now we have like 15 mexican stations in the bay area now

Glad I got XM too, don't have to deal with the programming crap, still pisses me off to see rock stations falling to f'in mariachi crap. Just goes to show where this state is headed.

That is number 2 that bites the dust...They changed 96.7 out of modesto week before..That was the last straw ,I went and got my Sirius and now dont even listen tot he radio..Just need that boom box for the garage... :2thumbs:

Seriously tho, wtf do they need with like 14 million beaner stations? (sorry too much carlos mencia) Is the guy running Clear Channel mexican? Maybe they own stocks in XM or Sirus and are making money by pushing people to it.

Hollister a hick town and we don't even have a country station any more.. Clear channel made it a mexican station has well. I emailed them and they just said sorry. That s where the money is at.. :flipoff2:

Fawkers!! I am just now reading this thread, but I got back from vacation this morning, hopped in my car popped on the radio and heard Mariachi crap....this sucks...

Them taking 96.7 here was wrong the only way to get good rock here is hope sac is putting out a good signal on their stations and with this weather lately its not happening.

When I go thought Mootown I can hear 92.5 they were better then 96.7 IMO...Sirius is the only way to go...I am VERY happy with mine.. :2thumbs:

yeh i emailed the manager at clear channel and of course no reply on 96.7. I did not write in mexican so that may have been a problem. Everyone has sirius but xm has a new device that will record 5 hours of multiple channels and you can play back at any time or listen to satteliet radio with built in antenna. Totally mobile unit. Not sure what service is better though.

Well, sacramento has taken its fair share of beatings too. BOB got replaced by flash, got replaced with Jack, which killed Howard, and of course QWOD turning fru fru homoghey QWOD 2.0.... "Howard 2.0. Just kidding, we wont screw you over like that other station" Low and behold, a few months later they screwed us over. The classic rock station now plays stuff that the rock station plays and vice versa. Its like the same channel. Looks like 80's music and really confused formats are here to stay. And as stupid as the show was, I miss Howard Stern.
