im taking my truck out for its Inaugural run to test things out.. Me and Ryan will probably be heading out Sat morning and camping out Sat.. not sure when were coming home on sunday.. not sure where were settin camp up.. i think maybe the sycamore camp..

no hammers for me so i'll do a small wheeling trip i can afford. you feel me?

you should come out there yakkers! I wasn't really planning on running tank trap by myself but if you're there then maybe we can get Doug to run the tank trap with us. :unsure: (bring a snatch block!)

i should be out there saturday around noon until sunday afternoon... so bring a 30 pack and some sobe bottles. :eyebrows:

not sure which campground- maybe sycamore, maybe obstacle course...

we may not get down there till noon.... just head out after yer done with that. what is this day trip stuff. the drunken antics, s#!t talking and pyrotechnics around the campfire is almost better than wheeling. :2thumbs:
I got a couple of big logs and a few pallets for firewood.

just replaced my $50 shifter cable, routed it away from the exhaust this time. :rolleyes:

YAY! That was fun. I like the new tires. Next time I just need to air them down more. 12psi and they needed to be around 4ish. Almost made it up the first water fall in tank, but didnt have the wheel speed. Ryan showed me how much I needed as he carried a tire up the whole thing. I learned and did a wheelie up the 2nd one. :D Then my wiring hell came back to haunt me. For some reason my starter wouldnt work. Ryan jumped it with a screw driver and got me out. Once back at the trailer figured out that it wasnt getting out past the firewall, jumped it and its fine for now. I guess it means for sure that the truck is down till the motor swap happens and I can rewire the whole thing correctly this time.

Well had a good time out there.. I was right in the middle of that smoke out.. couldnt see 3 feet.. we all had are beers and faces covered :blink:
truck ran good. only issue was some noise in the front end but overall im happy with the performance.. gonna need to do some cutting if im fitting anything bigger than a 35..

My carnage from saturday:
-broken front leaf spring
-bad fuel pump

Called my friends robert and brent, they were already halfway to hollister, but i somehow convinced them to turn around and go back to my house to grab me a fuel pump and a leaf spring that i had in my backyard... :beer:
So i swapped in the replacement leaf spring sat. night and all was good for another day of wheeling on sunday. :2thumbs:
