Room to Rent in SAC area

I'm moving form Denver and starting a new job in Rancho Cordova in a couple of weeks. I'm coming out ahead of my family so need something for a month, maybe longer. Need something furnished (at least with a bed), private bath would be nice, and I have a burb so need somewhere to park it (street parking is fine).

Me = 36, married w/ 3 kids, non-smoker, non-A-hole, solid income. Like to watch sports, wrench on old Chevy's, and drink an occasional adult beverage while doing it.

Probably not going to be permanently living in the sac area. My wife works for United and is trying to get transfered to SFO, so will probably end up in the Concord area were she can take the BART and I'll just have a long commute.

Can't help you with the room for rent thing, but if you do end up in the Concord area we'd be neighbors. I could certainly help give you advice on areas in Concord/Martinez/Pleasant Hill to consider or not consider. Hopefully you'll make it down my way....I'm kind of the lone club member in the east bay area. Used to be a bunch more.....guess I scared them off. :rolleyes:
