Since it seems that everyone wanted a Fordice run, lets get this going. When do we want to do it? August, or mid September? I'm open for any dates as long as we plan it a month or so out so I can get the time off work.

okay so I can't spell Its FORDYCE..... Kevin commite to a date and we'll work with it. That way we have two confirmed rigs and we can let everyone else figure it out.

That's my bday weekend (the 22nd)....therefore it's not likely that I'll be going as my family will most likely want to spend the day with me.

Oh shit....didn't even realize that that only leaves 1 free weekend between this trip and Moab. Cutting it way too close if something were to happen to my rig while on Fordyce. There's NO WAY I could get it back together in time to make Moab.

Between that and it being my bday...I'm out too.

Bummer....have fun guys.

Maybe I can squeeze in Rubicon in September....although I'm not holding my breath. I got a busy month that month as well.

Just got back from Fordcye since no one set a date went this labor day weekend. That place is sooooo much better than rubicon! No freaking politics like the con. Going to try and go back agian this month after I do a little more water proofing to my chevy. Anyone interested?

Im going to the con this week and hopefully get no tickets, then fordyce the next weekend after that i just want to go wheeling a bunch to make up for not really wheeling this summer. I know there are a bunch of pics and video that where taken this weekend but I only took 4 pics of the water fall above committe crossing and then 2 pics of my friend Ray with his sami in the waterfall below winch hill 3. And that was with my phone and I didnt have a charger so i couldnt use it much.

Here are the the 2 pics of Ray playing in the dry waterfall below winch hill 3 and then there are a couple of pics of the waterfall above committe crossing.

Aa far as the tickets go there are a bunch of copsthat run the con and then there is the cop marcus that has it out for anyone on the dual purpose road that isn't 100% street legal or if its a green sticker rig he is after them for running after dark or not having insurance. And I got lucky no tickets this time.

So this is my second try to post pics, not sure what happened to the first one said it had to be approved.

So the pics are of my friend Ray playing in the dry waterfall below winch hill #3 and then the waterfall above committe crossing.

If you notice in the first pic ray is balanced on his stinger and the rig below came in to catch him if it let go. There was a good 8' drop on his passenger side. Luckily there was no roll he got really lucky

What's the story behind this?

Rubicon has 6 different law enforcements on the con and then there is Marcus who only patrols the dual use road to the start of the trail and tickets anyone he can... green stickered rigs that run after dark or dont have insurance, and if your street legal he will get you for mud flaps, turn signals ect.
Luckily I never saw him Iand I got back to my trailer really close to dusk. but the group that was behind us by a hour did get tickets from him.
