I've decided the 84 gmc suburban is more trouble than its worth since i need more power to tow my k5 once its done than a 6.2 will give me. I was thinking bigblock or cummins swap but i'd rather focus on my wheeler. Anyways if your interested I got a ton of pictures on what was going to be my tow rig build thread.

And unlike the last person who sold it to me i'll tell you everything i know. Hit me up if your interested in it the basic specs on it are
84 3/4 ton 4x4 gmc suburban registered as a diesel (smog exempt)
1.6.2 with a poorly welded block 10 years ago (i didnt see the welded block receipts until i actually went through em all)
2.rebuilt th400 with 20,000 miles pretty sure i have receipts from the PO on it
3.if the seller is to be believed it has 206k miles on it total
4.motor may or may not run. I jumped it to get it home, Died on me coming off the off ramp and i jumped it again and got it home. Its saying water in fuel when i crank it now so i changed the fuel filter and nothing changed and i havent been able to crank it over since.
5.3/4 ton axles with a 14 bolt semi-floater rear,8 lug 44 front
6.Winch up front mounted on a heavy duty bumper (pics in link). clicks when i use the controller on it but doesnt engage
7.rust in the rear cab where its a double sheet metal body could be a PIA to fix
8. The PO had a bunch of stuff done recently like new starter/flex plate, batterys.glow plug controller. Master cylinder and some other brake stuff i would need to check receipts to be specific.
9.I put 20 gallons of diesel into the 40 gallon diesel tank to top it off when i got it thinking i would be able to drive it for a while. It was a 50 mile drive home so theres probably 38 gallons or so in there.
I paid 1000 to seller +80 bucks in diesel+ DMV fees so im hoping to get 750 out of it.
Anyways tell me if your interested and i can get your more info. Its just too much of a project for me Atm i need to focus on my wheeler truck.

Whats your price range? If i can keep the rebuilt th400/208 combo for my wheeler project i could be much more negotiable on the price. Its going to cost me upwards of 800 bucks and alot of time to get another th400 and rebuild it. And im motivated to get this thing outta my driveway anyways.
I'd like to get 400 for it if possible since the axles alone shouldnt be too short of that plus the motor and then the body and frame and a smog exempt title. If you want i can work out some kind of a payment program like 100 bucks a month. As i said im a motivated seller and i would definitley like to see this go to a club member opposed to dealing with CL.

I have the '74 I got a few years back, probably never going to get around to doing anything with it. I'll sell it cheap if you want it, like $500 or so. It's rough, but has a clean title and is non-opped, so no back fees. I think I paid over $500 to get it current when I bought it. No top, has a good 465/205 and 3/4 ton axles, a small block that looks rough but is rumored to run if the bits are put back on it. No seats, fair amount of cancer in the rockers and a bit in the floor. Missing parts here and there but the big stuff is all there. It also has a full family cage in it already, but it needs to be bolted to the floor and I'd probably add a few more tubes in it before putting my kids in the back.
I'd be open to interesting trades or partial trades also.
