I am gonna build the belly skid plate/tranny/doubler mount for my rig this week.

Need to know what kinda steel to get, how thick, and how much should I expect to cost.

Jason I saw on an old post on Pirate you were gonna use AR360, what is it and did it work out?

Basically I need something with strength cause I am going to bolt the tranny mount and doulber mounts directly to the plate. It needs to withstand the torque and also impacts.

I've seen pics of Esteban's setup, maybe I should copy that with the tubing for the strength instead?

that doubler adapter lets you tuck the t cases up im pretty sure.theres an article somewhere on www.offroaddesign.com im pretty sure he has a flatbelly with a doubler not sure on the mods he had to make.im thinking as long as you use a strong piece of 1/4 or if you want 3/8 inch.im guessing a high carbon alloy.btw DON'T ever buy a bronco :angryfire: its called 3 am girlfriend crying on the phone stuck on freeway first rain  recovery fawking alternator .highjack off :flipoff2: fawk ford :flipoff2:
