Learned me.

Since I have to move my tank again Ive been thinking about a fuel cell. Ive seen a few up on the classifieds. Im wondering how bad am I going to hate having the ports on the bottom? I mean the stock one has a floating pick up no? Most aftermarket ones just have ports on the bottom. I could see that being an issue at some angels. Should I be worried about it? or just toss one in?

Thinking of this one.
16 gallon jaz. on pirate for $80.

Where did you see that? Floating pick up?
The float on the gas tank is fixed.
Last gas tank with a floating pickup I saw was on an airplane.

Guess im thinking of the sender floating with the fuel level.

So for what we do, would the fuel cell above be ok? Other then maybe emtpying due to my lead foot?

So if Iam understanding this correctly....This is basicly a second, smaller fuel cell/tank. You have a second pump feeding this and your main pump pulling from the smaller tank. On the input for the smaller tank you also would need a check valve so that the fuel doesnt go back into the main tank.

What would keep you from doing this setup with out a second pump? Just have one pump sucking it through the small cell from the big cell.

Found some blanks....then realized they are in australia.

Everything that Ive read so far says that you can have just about any pump supplying the surge tank as long as it can keep it full. So more volume vrs pressure.

good thing you posted that up. Ill have to grab the one on the blazer....if its still there. What is ryan using for a second pump to feed the surge tank?
