Okay so I'm finally putting my high steer on my 60, I have one problem, that problem is the ball joint type end on the passenger side of the tie rod won't seat down into the tappered hole enough to get a the cotter pin in the hole. I've tried using a socket and a pipe wrench to get it tight enough to slide the cotter pin in but that wasn't even close to happening. I had no trouble on the drivers side but the passenger side just won't slide down the tappered hole enough. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

Sounds like the tapered hole is the wrong size.

Did you get the 2 that look the same (black short threaded ones) Part number 2010R for the passenger side...
If it wont go all the way in then Scott is right..
Like this right..
