Actually…that was one of the ideas I was thinking about. Although, it’s not the idea I sent to Kert.
I’m not decided yet on what I want, plus I need to hear back from Kert to see if my idea is even constructible and financially realistic.
But, if I go with the “JACK & COKE” theme I wanted to have the JD “old # 7 logo” cut into it as well.
We’ll see….but, you can count on this…they will definitely be custom and one of a kind….I don’t want a set of “plain jane” beadlocks.

Kert, nice job on Nates wheels.
What did you use to cut out the design? Laser or waterjet? Its looks way clean, other then Nates paint job. :flipoff2:

My wife has the digital camera with her in the Caribbean right now. So….unless someone has a digital camera and can post some pics up in the next couple days….I won’t be able to get any posted until early next week.
But…we got them ALL put together last night. Started at 6:15pm and finished at 12:30am. They look KILLER!!!! They took forever and I hope I don’t have to do that again for a LONG time. Last night I aired them up to 30psi and I checked them this morning before I left for work…and they’re still at 30…so that‘s a good sign. Today I’ll mount them on the truck and take it out for a spin to see how “balanced” they are…hopefully the truck will still be streetable. I can’t wait for this weekend to see how well they work.
And yes….the paint job leaves a lot to be desired. But what do you expect….I painted them yesterday morning starting at 4:30am and finished at 6:45…..in my garage….with the door closed….when it was like 44*…plus it was dark. So there are some runs and they were still REALLY sticky last night while we were putting them together. But the paint was going to get wrecked anyways the first run out so no big deal.
BTW…..a HUGE thanks goes out to Jason (jays90210yak) and Eric (whosyourdrinker) for helping me put them together. There is no way IN HELL that I could’ve completed them before this trip without their help. I owe you guys big. How does a steak dinner sound this weekend? Plus….we had a pretty good time putting them together. :rotfl:
Also….Kert….thanks again for doing such a killer job fabing these things and getting them out so fast. The workmanship was top notch (those welds were just plain sick…awesome job…where they MIG’d or TIG’d?) along with the best customer service in the business. :2thumbs: :praise:
I’ll go on the record once again….I HIGHLY recommend DIY4X. They are one of the few vendors in this sport who really “get it”.

Lastnite when Nate was hunched over the tire. I thought he hit him self in the junk with the wrench. Then I noticed he was laughing so hard he couldn't even make a sound. Seems he let one go,so bad his first reaction was to start busting up laughing... Then wave his arms wildly moving the stink all around the garage....
Oh yea Nice Beadlocks there Nate. You still down to go out tonight? What's the dealio?
