Art(PaloAltoK5) and I(nsano) are going to FR May 19-21 for our Second Annual May Birthday Bash Creek Thrash.

Will be leaving the south bay in the early am and coming back Sunday eve. Should be a good time, good weather, confirmed the park is open for OHV including the creek. Will confirm again before we go. If they closed we keep drivin to Deer Valley or some shit!

Come watch Art thrash his rig on wet rocks and break half inch grade 8 spring hanger bolts. :crazy: Git'r'done

I've got a skid plate doubler and 4 points now...who knows what will happen.

Would love to go...but I'll building my cage that weekend. Have a good time and take lots of pics for us webwheelers/continual builders of trucks. :beer:

hmm 2 weeks to get the tow rig and the rig back together.....hmm.

As it stands right now my rig can't get on my trailer...gonna fix that this weekend...

i'll come out for at least 1 day for sure, might snag the motorhome and spend the weekend out there. But i'll drive the blazer out on saturday for sure.

almost finished with my trailer. The fender rails are done. I forgot to weld on the d-rings. doin that next thursday. other than that I am done. Might be mounting my air compressor before the trip too. Single piston compressor and tank. :)

putting the last 2 bars in my cage this weekend, top and doors off and i'm there! I live in livermore, so FR is easy to get to. I'll be there for sure

Well weres the pics??? Obvisiously I didnt make it out. Broke the RC crawler friday night. Saturday ended up going to Jerrys and helped him get ready for pismo.

Anyone break anything? How was the doubler?

Trip was fun, rain sucked, being sick sucked. The doubler, 52's, new front design, moving axle forward, new seats and belts all rocked! Crawling at 80:1 is pimp. I broke a brake line and various sheet metal parts, as well as bending a 2 inch door tube up at the rocks at the end.

Art bent his ram mount tabs, 1/2" steel plate, git'r'done Art. I guess those rams are stronger than I thought.

The Scout didn't break anything, just overheated like usual. The Toyota technically didn't break, the shit that should have fixed failed yet again. Front d-shaft falling off..hmm maybe some lock washers and red loctite? And the transmission locking up, possibly a rebuild or new one?

Pics coming hopefully, I personally didn't take a camera. :unsure:

saturday was a blast! thanks for having us on your trip guys, and thanks to everyone who stacked rocks for me at the end of the creek. Hopefully I gave you all enough of a body panel ripping show to make up for the work, lol.
