Yes the diner is a mandatory payment.. The meal is exellent and well worth it.. It was going to be tri-tip sandwiches and salad garlic bread.. I am thinking about making 1/3 of it chicken diners.. If you guys want to.??? Thanks

I was wandering the same thing as MTBlazer89. so we have to buy the dinner just to come to BF or are you saying you have to buy it to get the food, the poker run and raffle tickets. I would buy a dinner for the wife and me but my kids aint going to eat $15.00 worth of food.

I think people are looking at this in the wrong text. Correct me if I'm wrong here but Blazer Fest is not only a chance for the club to get together do a little wheelin and have some fun but it's also the only fundraiser we have all year. The proceeds of Blazer Fest pay for the website, membership to Tread Lightly and such. These things are all part of keeping our sport alive and our club a place to hang out on the web. Proceeds from previous BFests have paid for the materials to build our club RTI ramp and so on.

$25 per person is extremely cheap for an event, especially if you get food and some raffle tickets. Participants on my run at Sierra Trek this year are paying $130 per person for basically the same thing as your gonna get for $25 at BFest.

Yes Goldrush is right.. We also have a few new costs. Wrist bands, Printing for all the donation letters and stamps also we have to pay a event fee at Hollisterhills.. This helps cover the costs that in the past I mostly paid.. I have to pay $115.00 me my wife my daughter and her best friend and my son.. My 6 year old son only ways 48 pds.. So he isn't going to eat much.. And my daughters best friend is a Vegetarian.. So all she will have is salad.. But it is a fundraiser for us.. And hopefully we can make some extra money this year to help put something new in Hollisterhills Something like a permant RTI ramp or help out with the new exansion they are working on..
