Ok so after not getting a nap like I should have I got off my ass and drove the thing over to my Dad's (I didnt care if my d60 went one way and the rig went the other..At that point..

So My Long winded ???? is is it normal for the front springs to shift after going to hi-steer...
The popping I can hear and feel is the front springs number 2 in the 4 leaf pack from top down number 2 just under the main leaf.I turn the wheel and can see BOTH sides same spring shift in the pack..the only spring clamp is way down about 1 ft from the center...(they are easy rides..TC) :2thumbs:

In what way is it moving? The only way it could possibly move due to the pin is spin and no it shouldn't be doing that because the u-bolts should hold it. Did you tighten the u-bolts properly old man?

This old man did tighten then down good and that leaf only is ...

If I rock the wheel back and forth the front of that leaf (IF looking down on the top of the spring) the front edge will go back and forth (the end of the leaf only)..The others stay put..

I seem to remeber when I had them apart there was wear on the main leaf right where it is moving now...So maybe this was doing it before these became mine...
